ROSEBUD SIOUX TRIBE CORRECTIONS SERVICES

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe has negotiated with the Bureau of Indian Affairs to combine both detention services (Adult and Juvenile) under one P.L. 93-638 contract.  This contract has been approved in October of 2008.  The Management of the Wanbli Wiconi Tipi will provide Administration to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Adult Jail and work to meet Corrections Standards to deliver a Safe and Secure environment for the Adult Corrections Program.  Check back to this webpage in the future to receive updates regarding the Adult Program.

Adult Inmate Mail:
You may communicate with an inmate at any time via the U.S. Mail or private delivery service. We receive deliveries Monday through Friday from the U.S. Postal Service. All incoming mail is opened and searched for contraband. Legal mail received shall be opened in the presence of the inmate to confirm that it is legal mail.  All mail should be addressed as follows or it will be returned to the post office:

Adult Visitation Hours:

1 Visitor per inmate. You and your vehicle are subject to search when on Jail Property.

Wednesday- 6pm - 8pm (8 slots)

Thursday-     6pm-8pm (8 slots)

Sunday-        2pm-5pm (12 slots)

 Adult Telephone Calling Policy:

All calls, including local and attorney calls, are collect and the person called must accept the charges.

10 minute limit if other people are waiting to use the Telephone.

30 minute limit on all calls.
