Unity Bike Ride

On Saturday April 17, 2010 nearly 60 youth, parents, volunteers and staff participated in the 1^st Annual Sicangu Unity Bike Ride which covered 18 miles through the heart of the Rosebud Reservation.  The Sicangu Unity Bike Ride was planned to promote Unity and place an emphasis on the cultural teaching of Wokakija Waste (Positive Suffering).   Special Thanks to Rosebud Sioux Tribe Diabetes Prevention for fruit and water, Rosebud Sioux Tribe Youth Affairs for fruit, Todd County Safe Schools for t-shirts, all volunteers, parents, staff, WWT food service and Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services (Grace Her Many Horses) for a safety escort.
